Where do future sonic fragments come from, when we gather to think together – us, our histories, together, slipping by in space - grounded and bound in paced and placed noise. A heartbeat of sounds abound when we gather together. We are bathed in publicly accessible audio. We share sound and music with others, whether we or they like it - it lives in the very air we breathe - the pulse between sound and silence, sound and silence – the earth’s air pressure envelope expands and contracts as we move between sound and silence. Thought, made air pressure, made thought again, we live, we are immersed in shared sonic temporalities with each other. “Oh wow … that’s that ad-song-thingie from when we wuz kidz, en’ all” – a psyco-positronic-sonic- posipsyphonic tonic for exploring and navigating time alongside each other.

We’ll use this quantum cartographic brief to see what happens when thinkers and tinkerers all send and sound sonic pointers together, into a single pocket of shared sonic-temporalacricallity, making sure we also contribute a few thanks/shout-outs, an age old album artefact that shows community and humility, gratitude and connection.

We’re immersed in opening and inviting the sonic – both sound and silence - into the churn of shared living. For all of us, some measure of monotonic, sonic funk, in one way or another is being invoked. Posipsyphonic sonic funk at times, I’d often say if asked. It’s bouncing off this sonic temple, this nexus in sound of Afrofuturisticly-enabled, bio-psyphonicially-charged, sonic neutronic focus – The City of Bristol, the birthplace of Trip Hop, British Hip Hop, Trippy Hip Hop, Bristolian Flipped Hop. Therefore, this sonic sculpture that we’ll co-create is an album – it’s a Bristol trip hop inspired Afrofuturistic artefact of this universe birthing into ours.

I mean – I can almost hear the historic-posipsyphonic vibes we are creating. But futuriphonic?
